Telecommuting or working from home can either be a godsend or a curse depending on the person. Some people thrive in the work environment while others find it too distracting and work better from home. However, probably the best feature of my den is that the door has a lock. So the only piece of advice I can really give for focusing while working from home is to isolate yourself from all distraction. Once you do that, you should find it much easier to focus on the task at hand.
